Park Distric Boys Basketball

So, i never got to shoot that fish tank yet, but i did get to shoot the kids basketball game, That new Nikon D300 is an awesome camera, if you are even thinking about getting one, stop thinking and just do it....my post production is almost nill now (was using a D70) I shot this one with a Tamron 17-55 shot at 2.8 and 1/500 sec. If you have never shot indoor basketball....yikes, talk about crappy lighting....I do not use a flash so I don't distract the players, I have more pictures that I will post to my Flickr feed

Anyone seen this yet?

This is a GREAT short made by TWO yes TWO people, I think it is about time for the Major studios to get worried, I see the tides a turning......and oh by the way, I have not gotten to my friends house to take those "fish" pictures yet.

So my neighbor called me and wants me to come over and take a few pictures of his saltwater fish this weekend, I went once all ready, and I have to say...It's way harder then i thought it would be, here is one of the better one's from the last time I went. I shot it with a Nikon D300 with a Sigma 50mm 2.8 set at 2.8

everyday photography

So, it seems that everyone and there brother are "photographers" now and days. I never claimed to be a great photographer, and advanced amateur I would call it, so as i trial and error, I'm going to share my experiences with who ever wants to read this, and hopefully someone can learn from my mistakes.
